History

The official opening of the Centre took place on 23 June 2012 and was opened by local author Rosie Goodwin.

The opening was the culmination of 8 years hard work by a group of dedicated volunteers under the Chairmanship of Parish Council Chairman John Randle.  To achieve the provision of a much needed village facility many obstacles had to be overcome.  These included negotiation with the Church of England Coventry Diocese to obtain a lease for the site which was formerly Holy Trinity Church Hall.  Raising the necessary funding associated with a project of this magnitude took time but was finally achieved thanks to our generous funders.

Thanks to Warwickshire County Council a volunteer run Community Library is now based next to the Centre in the church vestry.

A Branching Out Bus (B.O.B.) Hub was created in the Centre with the ultimate aim being to free up the B.O.B. to travel to outlying villages.
